HALF-DAY AUGMENTED REALITY WORKSHOPS FOR TEENS
The Maine Math & Science Alliance’s STEMports Project is hosting a series of FREE HALF-DAY AR WORKSHOPS around the state this summer for youth 13+. The workshops are designed as an opportunity for teens to build their understanding of augmented reality technology and to explore the science, math, engineering and technology (STEM) in our rural communities through hands-on collaborative projects using innovative applications of digital technology.

>> Digital devices will be available for any who need them
>> Free and open to all interests and skill levels
TO SIGN UP
The program is FREE and open to any participants 13 years and older, though an application is required as each session is limited to 20 attendees.
We strongly encourage youth of all skill levels, interest areas and backgrounds to apply. Selection is based on assembling a cohort of enthusiastic participants with diverse interests and perspectives rather than preferencing particular STEM- or gaming experience.
Participants will be informed by July 15 whether they have a spot in the program.
